Fall in love with the charming atmosphere of the traditional Finnish Silmu sauna cabin!

Enjoy the soothing, gentle steam of the sauna and take a refreshing dip in the pure waters of Southern Konnevesi.

From the cabin, you'll have a unique view of an osprey nesting island nearby. You can watch the osprey’s nesting activities from the terrace or while lounging on the pier.

(Please remember to respect the osprey’s peace during nesting season! The nesting tree is protected.)

The Silmu sauna cabin accommodates several bathers at once, reducing unnecessary firewood use. The dressing room is spacious, and the beach has a sandy bottom with a gentle slope. There is a small, modest fire pit on the shore, and a little trail from the yard leads to a shelter at the northern tip of Silmu Island—perfect for a small campfire excursion.

The cabin has a long, sturdy pier, accessible even for larger boats.
